The Invercargill Speight's Alehouse opened for business in 2006, and is the latest development undertaken by the Invercargill Licensing Trust in partnership with Lion Nathan.

 

Host Stephanie Bekhuis is also the first ever female Speight's Ale House host, - some may say that makes her the "Perfect Woman"!

 

Constructed at the turn of the 19th century, the building that is home to this Speight's Ale House was, for the majority of its life, a shoe shop. It was transformed by a fitout that has retained some of the great characteristics of this unique building.

 

The menu offers a selection of quality, hearty southern fare all matched to the great Speight's beers on offer.
